An On-Going Project…
In September of 2023, we were asked to provide reusable feminine products to the students of Mugomba Primary School. With the help of our generous donors we were able to fulfill this request! Reusable feminine products are economical, sustainable, and necessary for preserving the life of the school latrine (a project funded by Kamukamu in August of 2023). With “period poverty” affecting many young girls in Africa, Kamukamu has committed to making this an annual project/donation. With your help, we can provide every female attending Mugomba Primary a “Feminine Packet” at the start of each school year. To contribute, just write “Feminine Hygiene Project” in the comment box when donating online or in the memo portion of your check.
What’s Next?
We are in the process of reviewing the recent project requests from schools in Uganda that have been submitted to our organization. We will update this section as soon as a decision has been made! In the meantime, please consider donating to our General Fund. We are able to consider bigger projects when we have a portion of the funds available for start-up costs.
